After Mr. Delahunt’s remarks, the audience will be invited to address questions or comments to him and to the panelists. Notes on meeting with Rep. William Delahunt, September 6, 2005 [click here] The Arab-Israeli Situation in Flux: A Palestinian and Israeli Dialogue Since Yassir Arafat’s death, the possibility of a settlement between the Israelis and the Palestinians has improved. The election of Mahmoud Abbas as president of the Palestinian Authority has already changed the situation. How these changes will play out, especially in view of the latest terrorist attacks and the Israeli response, is unclear.
