Hadas Ziv, Executive Director, Physicians for Human Rights – Israel. Hadas Ziv has worked with Israel’s Physicians for Human Rights for 14
years. She has served as Executive Director since 2004, and oversees a
staff of 17 working with 1,500 members. She will talk about her
organization’s work in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory
(OPT), which has included working for Palestinians’ access to health care
and the promotion of health rights of Palestinian women married to
Israelis, but denied civil status.

The event is designed to create a safe and respectful place for Jews to listen and speak about their concerns for Israel. Early Channukah Party/Film Showing ($5 suggested donation)
Please join us for our next meeting, planned as an early Channukah Party/film showing. It will be held at the Kosher home of Eric and Mandi Odier-Fink in Bangor. Some of us will go early to cook together. The film will be Breaking the Silence which consists of interviews with Israeli Defense Force veterans who served in Hebron.
