I have joined Brit Tzedek because it brings together Jews who are committed to Israel's well-being and who feel that security for Israel can only be achieved through the establishment of a politically viable Palestinian state and an end to Israel's occupation of land acquired during the 1967 war. Brit Tzedek's goal is to help end terrorism and state-initiated violence against all individuals, and build a future in which both Israelis and Palestinians use non-violent means to resolve social and political inequities.
