Diplomacy is on the move.  A bipartisan delegation of U.S. Representatives, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, travels to Syria to discuss Israeli-Syrian peace.

Pro-Israel, pro-peace legislation finds new support.  Rep. Susan Davis (CA) introduces a resolution calling on President Bush to appoint an envoy for Middle East peace.  Among its early cosponsors are 4 Jewish Members and 3 freshmen.

Mainstream media awakens to the dangers of political neglect.  Nicholas Kristof, NYTimes columnist, writes,  There is no serious political debate among either Democrats or Republicans about our policy toward Israelis and Palestinians. And that silence harms America, Middle East peace prospects and Israel itself.”

Brit Tzedek activists have been changing the debate in the Jewish community; now be a part of the change in Washington.
