[BTvS - NYC] Chapter Meeting Oct 4th with Daniel Levy of the Geneva Initiative

DANIEL LEVY, lead Israeli drafter of the Geneva Initiative

On October 4, the New York Chapter will be hosting Daniel Levy,
lead Israeli drafter of the Geneva Initiative at Beit Shalom.
Levy will address the "Prospects for Peace" in the Middle East.
As a former advisor to Prime Minister Barak and as an analyst
for the International Crisis Group, Levy will bring a wealth of
perspective and experience to his presentation. Read more about

Join us at 6:15pm at Beit Shalom, 114 W. 26th Street (between
6/7th Aves), 10th Floor on October 4. This meeting is free and
open to all. Light refreshments will be served.

Come and meet other young chapter activists and discuss Brit
Tzedek's next steps towards reengaging the peace process.

October 11, 2006 - 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Church of Gethsemane, 1012 8th Avenue, Park Slope, Brooklyn.
Brit Tzedek will facilitate discussion through use of film clips
and provide an overview of our current activities and campaigns,
as well as how to get involved. Free and open to the public.
Light refreshments will be served.

October 22, 2006 - 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
BROOKLYN PEACE FAIR, Brit Tzedek will be hosting an information
table at this event, please email us at nyc@btvshalom.org if you
are interested in volunteering or just stop by to say hello!
This year's event will be at Long Island University's downtown
Brooklyn Campus.

October 23, 2006 - 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
MEET THE PRESIDENT, Brit Tzedek President Marcia Freedman as she
discusses the strategic decisions facing the American Jewish
community regarding Israel now and Brit Tzedek's role.
