[BTvS-WMass] Reminder: Brit Tzedek discussion Tues Sept. 26th

Brit Tzedek Discussion Tuesday Sept. 26th - 7 pm
In the Community Room of Florence Savings Bank, Hadley (In the
Whole Foods Mall -- see directions below)

Dear Brit Tzedek Western Mass list members,

Over the summer we had three well-attended discussions about the
situation in Israel, Lebanon and Gaza. Many of you wanted to be
there, but couldn't be free that night, or were away.

Here is your chance. (And this time we are trying a venue that
is HALFWAY BETWEEN Northampton and Amherst!)

And now that the situation has calmed down, we can all process
together a bit better. We are sending some questions to ponder
in advance that we will discuss together.

1) How has this "situation" affected you - personally, at home,
at work, with friends, with other communities?

2) What is the next most important thing that should happen over

3) What, if anything, could we do as a Western Brit Tzedek
chapter? As Jews in Western Mass? As a Jewish community?

Shana Tova and Gut Yom Tov,
Carolyn Oppenheim and Nancy Felton, co-chairs

Directions: Florence Savings Bank is on the corner of South
Maple St. and Route 9, in the mall with Whole Foods and WalMart.

**From Northampton, the SECOND light after the Whole Foods
Entrance, you make a right and then an immediate right and the
bank is on your right. If you take the first light after Whole
Foods entrance, you make that right at the light and then LEFT
to the bank and the bank is on the left.

**From Amherst, take a left between the two malls (South Maple
Street) and then your first right into the mall.
