[BTvS-NYC] Shanah Tovah
Shanah tovah! We would like to wish everyone a happy new year.
We look forward to working with you to spread Brit Tzedek's
message and we hope many more of you play an active role in our
chapter this year.
A report back from Jewzapalooza, the Jewish music and culture
festival held September 17, 2006: First, we would like to say
THANK YOU to the chapter activists who joined us in reaching out
to the community at this event. It was a beautiful day to spend
outside enjoying great music. In addition, it was very
reaffirming to see many familiar faces stop by and say hello. We
heard words of encouragement from several chapter members who
stopped by and expressions of how glad you were to see us there.
On the outreach front, we gained several new memberships and
added many to our list of supporters in the NYC area. We also
introduced many to Brit Tzedek for the first time and engaged in
some interesting discussions with people of all opinions. All in
all, it was a lot of fun and a very successful outreach effort
for the chapter.
We hope some of you will join us for what will be another great
outreach opportunity: THE BROOKLYN PEACE FAIR. Our chapter will
host an information table at the Peace Fair on October 22 from
11am-5pm. Email us if you would like to find out more:
