Paid Summer Internship: We are seeking a resourceful, hardworking and organized college or graduate student with good writing and editing skills for a substantive and paid summer internship. Primary responsibilities include researching and writing educational material, developing a comprehensive educational resources page for Brit Tzedek's website and assisting with the organization's communications efforts. Some administrative duties will also be required. Hard work, good humor and a keen eye for detail are musts. Experience in journalistic research and writing and knowledge about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are strongly desired. The position is based in Brit Tzedek's national office in downtown Chicago and is full-time for eight weeks for a total of $2500. Vounteer Opportunities

Media Mentors: The media committee is seeking several seasoned public relations professionals and journalists to serve as mentors for our chapters' media representatives who are undertaking a comprehensive, year-long training program to increase media capacity at the local level. Each mentor will be assigned a single advisee, with whom he/she will work to develop and implement an individualized media plan for that chapter. Although the work schedule will be largely need driven and thus irregular, it is unlikely that the time commitment will exceed 5-6 hours per month. For more information, please contact

Fact Sheet Researchers and Writers: Our Public Information Committee is creating a series of fact sheets on a variety of issues related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to lend their expertise on a specific topic or to research a topic of personal interest to help build this valuable educational resource. Help wanted in the following areas: graphic design and review, copy writing, data collection and analysis, research, reviewing and providing feedback on alternative campaigns, odd jobs, chapter level follow-up and outreach.
