Join us for this unique opportunity to meet and learn
from hundreds of key scholars, politicians and activists --Jews,
Palestinians and others-- working for a negotiated two-state
resolution of the conflict throughout this country. Register
Geneva Accord architect Amnon Lipkin-Shahak, a former Chief of
Staff of the IDF and Member of Knesset will be our Israeli
keynote Sunday evening.
Amnon Lipkin-Shahak was appointed by the late Prime
Minister Yitzhak Rabin to be the Deputy Chief of the General
Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Chief of Staff in
1995. He was also one of Prime Minister Rabin's chief
negotiators during the Oslo Peace Accords. He went on to serve
as a senior member of the negotiating team led by Barak and
participated in the negotiations at Camp David and Taba.
Lipkin-Shahak served in the Knesset as a representative of the
Hamercaz (The Center) party of which he was a founding member.
