Yehezkel Landau and Maribeth (Betsy) Kaptchuk
Maribeth (Betsy) Kaptchuk, a licensed acupuncturist residing and working in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has worked for the last two years as an American spokesperson for the Israeli peace group the Bereaved Parents' Circle. She worked with Brit Tzedek chapters from all over the country on a 14 city tour of the Parents' Circle in October 2002 and is a U.S. board member of the Parents' Circle.
Yehezkel Landau, a dual American-Israeli citizen, moved to Israel in 1978, after earning degrees at Harvard University and Harvard Divinity School. He directed the Oz v'Shalom-Netivot Shalom Religious Peace Movement during the 1980's, and from 1991 until 2003 co-directed the Open House Coexistence Center in Ramle. He currently has a three year appointment as Faculty Associate in Interfaith Relations at Hartford Seminary.
