Betsy Fuchs recently became the co-chair of the Chicago chapter. She is also a member of a 900 family Reform Jewish synagogue and through conversations with members and her two rabbis, she realized the need for Jews to learn to listen to (and talk with) Jews who have strongly different opinions on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. She has brought the Listening Project to a small group of chapter members with interesting results, and hopes to bring the Listening Project to more chapter members, to her synagogue and to other Jews in the Chicago area.
