Engaging Young Adults in Middle East Peace Work
Rebecca Hartman, Barry Joseph, Jennifer Klein and Carinne Luck
This session will bring together young activists in the Brit Tzedek movement from across the country to discuss their successes and struggles in outreach to young, post-college adults. It is a challenge to engage this particular demographic, because, in large part, most young adults do not have formal institutional affiliations through which they can be reached and, because their relationship to Israel was shaped post-1967. The aim of this session is to use the shared experience of the panelists as a springboard for a discussion about how to reach and engage this group in Brit Tzedek's work.
