Dr. Brian Klug is Senior Research Fellow in Philosophy at St. Benetís Hall, Oxford, and Associate Professor of Philosophy at Saint Xavier University, Chicago. He is an Honorary Fellow at the University of Southampton, attached to the Department of History, US consulting editor for Patterns of Prejudice (Institute for Jewish Policy Research, UK), and founder member of the Jewish Forum for Justice and Human Rights (UK).
His writing on race, antisemitism, Jewish identity, Zionism and related subjects has appeared in various periodicals including The Nation, Foreign Policy, Patterns of Prejudice, Jewish Quarterly, The Jewish Year Book, Jewish Chronicle, Guardian, Tel Aviv Yearbook for German History, Il Manifesto, Die Welt, Blätter für deutsche und internationale Politik, Tachles and Tages-Anzeiger.
Since 2003 he has spoken at a variety of forums on subjects of Jewish interest. They include: The Israel Diaspora Trust, Parkes Centre for the Study of Jewish/Non-Jewish Relations at the University of Southampton, Glasgow Zionist Organization, British Friends of Peace Now, Jewish Council for Racial Equality, Saint Xavier University Philosophy Colloquium, Oberlin Zionists, Jewish Socialistsí Group, Arab Media Watch, Glasgow New Synagogue, Jews for Justice for Palestinians, Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University, German-Israeli Working Group for Peace in the Middle East, Chicago Peace Now, Wiener Library, and several conferences and workshops in Europe and the US.
Dr. Klug is co-editor of two books: Ethics, Value and Reality and Children as Equals.
