Aaron Ahuvia, Secretary of Brit Tzedek víShalomís national board, serves at the national level by helping direct membership outreach, chapter development and opinion research. He is also founder of the Brit Tzedek chapter in Ann Arbor. A long time activist in Reconstructionist movement, Ahuvia is a founding member of his Reconstructionist congregation, a member of the local Conservative congregation, and a member of the Federation's Jewish Community Relations Council. Ahuvia is a leading scholar and teacher of Marketing and Director of International Programming at the University of Michigan-Dearborn School of Management. Aaron also does research, teaches and consults for governments, nonprofits and corporations around the world, on topics related to consumer behavior. This work includes regular teaching at major European universities, and working for the U.S. Government to promote economic growth in developing nations. Along with numerous academic publications, Aaronís research has been quoted in Time Magazine, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, major publications in Europe and Japan, has been heard on National Public Radio talk shows, and has even appeared on televisionís Oprah Winfrey Show.
