Diane Cantor, Executive Director, has worked for more than twenty-five years in advocacy and direct service, first as a trainer and regional representative for the National Alliance of Business and Tidelands Community Mental Health Center and later in progressively responsible positions in non-profit management. Her most recent assignments include nine years as executive director of Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity, the largest non-profit homebuilder in Savannah, Georgia and a four|year term as president of the Savannah-Chatham County Board of Education, the seventh largest school system in Georgia with 35,000 students and 5,200 employees. Diane majored in creative writing and music at Sarah Lawrence College and uses creative communication techniques to develop grants, videos, articles and organizational development and training materials. Her plays have been regionally performed, and she has worked with local, regional and national media.
