LAND OF THE SETTLERS: VIDEO DIARY OF A WORRIED ISRAELI JOURNALIST Documentary Screening and Educational Meeting, 8:00 pm. Beth El - The Heights Synagogue, 3246 Desota Ave, Cleveland Heights. Please join us for our upcoming educational meeting on March 25 at 8:00 pm, which we will be hosting jointly with Congregation Beth El. We will be screening the second part of Chaim Yavin’s documentary Land of the Settlers (with English subtitles). The film is travelogue, news report, and personal exploration combined, and the segments we will be viewing focus entirely on Hebron, providing a strong case for both sides: the fanaticism of the settlers but also the longstanding Jewish connection to the place. Because some of the material is controversial and disturbing, we will have time for small-group discussion. You are more than welcome to join us for this screening even if you have not seen the first part. For more information, please email us.
